THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity to join eBay, the world’s largest e-commerce company, as part of the StubHub EMEA Product & Technology TechOps organization in our EMEA technology center.  If you are ready to make a difference and have a passion for DevOps automation using Microservices this could be the role for you!  

LOCATION: BILBAO SPAIN

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As our team member you will:

  • Be part of a team that embraces de DevOps and Agile culture.
  • Participate in the whole lifecycle of new services.
  • Be responsible for your own work. You really will own it and manage it.
  • Be fostered to grow as a professional.
  • Work with state of the art technologies and tools, like containers and immutable architecture.
  • Be able to work in different aspects: monitoring, performance, security, etc.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with PaaS services, mainly AWS and GCP.
  • Knowledge of CD/CI pipeline: Jenkins and Concourse.
  • Configuration management: chef, puppet, saltstack.
  • Automation: ansible.
  • Version control: git.
  • Be comfortable with Linux.
  • All languages you believe may help: shell, python, Go, ...
  • A strong culture of continuous learning.
  • Empathy and helpfulness.
