This individual will be the Business Project Manager within the Central Business development and Operations department. This role will act as the project management partner to multiple teams, to ensure central deals’ deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each central project are compatible and achievable on time and will support the market operations team by selecting the most suitable platform for each of their deals. The role requires active engagement and partnership with the markets operations team and with the Product and Technology lead.

The role will report into the Head of Central Ops & PMO.


As the Central Project Manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Central Project managers at Stubhub work closely with upper management and the countries to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.

  • Support Business Development team in their commercial activity:

    • Coordinate with local and central BD teams to have clear Project Pipeline

    • Support BDs in business meetings with the aim of gathering the opportunity requirements

    • Run the internal Platform Scorecard in order to identify which technology is the most suitable in each case

    • Attend Deal Review meetings and present the opportunity from a technical and Project Management perspective to the leadership team

  • Active part of the Business Operations (Execution): involved into business operations, the implementation of the deals and commercial day to day activity with the BDs

    • Create a suite of demos for different types of clients (e.g. sport , music, apps, football club, festival etc.)

    • Run and lead Partner Platform demo

    • Project plan creation for Global deals and support markets for local deal: developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

    • Build a detailed project plan for each partnership: create detailed project plans that document, schedule, coordinate and track all teams' tasks, dependencies and deliverables.

    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

    • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

    • Project Plan weekly/daily reviews for Global deals to track progress

    • Ensure resource availability and allocation

    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

    • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

    • Report and escalate to management as needed

    • Collect platform feedback and request new features

    • Consolidated view on Partnerships executions regarding Platforms

    • Build and maintain relationships with internal teams to support the partner base: ; Business Developers, Product & Technology and Operations teams among others.

  • Support the Product and Technology department to set the company’s vision regarding Primary technology

  • Become the business counterpart for the P&T Primary project Manager (PPM)  

  • Actively support and engage with the Product Team to define and prioritize the Primary technology Roadmap

    • Be informed of the product roadmap lead by P&T Team and ensure it  will support the business needs

    • Attend training and readiness of all business functions when new product features are about to be released (internal demos & intensive trainings)

    • Liaise with PPM to share feedback & new request features


  • BA/BS degree is required, preferably in Engineering, IT or Business.

  • Proven 4 + years working experience as a project administrator preferably in the entertainment or ticketing industry (sports and/or music)

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

  • Strong knowledge of the e-commerce landscape and technology trends

  • Deep understanding of business drivers/processes and ability to prioritize

  • Experience working with senior leaders, interacting across multiple levels of organization & working with virtual teams.

  • Experience delivering large scale/global projects from concept through delivery and operations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented, outstanding planning and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment

  • Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to make quick & effective decisions

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to motivate people

  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project management tools (Trello, MS Project, Slack or similar)

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
